The high-production
Newman 282, 18” planer, is equipped with a
pneumatic feed system and eight knife helical carbide cutter heads to resist
grain tear out and provide superior quality surfacing from ½” to 5 ½”.
The glue line accurate
Diehl SL52 rip saw provides a quality, true and
accurate edge on surfaced or rough lumber.
The
Mereen-Johnson 312 select-a-rip gang rip saw will gang rip
multiple pieces in one pass. The 16’ in-feed fence along with the continuous
feed chain and hydro-lock arbor provides a clean, accurate glue line
straight blank. Although mostly used for producing our molding blanks, it
can provide precision-ripped optimized blanks using a programmable, moveable
blade.
The
Baker BBR-O horizontal tilting table 12” resaw will resaw on
center, resaw off center, resaw face or resaw at an angle.
Two state-of-the-art molders provide high quality production and
custom moldings. The Weinig six-head 22AL molder with jointing capability,
chrome tables and in- bed feed rolls can run at speeds in excess of 200
fpm. The Weinig 1000 Unimat, 8000 rpm molder, specializes in shorter runs and
smaller profiles. Both machines are rigorously maintained and equipped with
axial and radial dial indicators for consistently accurate setups.
The
Dimter Opticut S50 programmable optimizing crosscut saw provides
quality end trimming and defecting with tolerances + or - .031. The
customized upcut saw uses a servo-controlled push arm to feed pieces into
clamp area for accurate square cutting.
The
Rosenquist radio frequency edge gluer has a 50” width capacity for
large or small parts. A solid clamping table flattens and clamps during the
gluing process to produce tabletops, panels, molder blanks etc., ready for
use in minutes.
The computer controlled
CAD programmed protemp template maker can
reproduce or create new templates for any molding profile. Profiles are
stored in the database for quick and easy retrieval.
